Cafe - Boulangerie la Fournee

地元の方で賑わうベーカリーでした。ショーケースの中には　パン、マカロン、サンドイッチなどなど。クロワッサンはとってもきれいな三日月形。ホームメイドのジャムはかわいい小瓶に入っていて　お土産にぴったりでした。

We happened upon this place on our way to Quebec City and just loved it. The bread and desserts were freshly made, with local ingredients, and most important, they were delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. It's difficult to find good French bread around Ottawa and this place was one of the top ones. They also have a small selection of local/organic cheeses. All the ones I tried were delicious.It's worth a visit for the food alone but they also exhibit art and crafts from local artists including paintings and housewares, gadgets, ustensils, etc. Love that it's local and very good quality.

CPK exceeded my expectations for a lunch spot. The cucumber reviver cocktail was the perfect way to refresh myself after a day of shopping in 103 degree heat.

The restaurant has a unpleasant smell. It's not overwhelming, but it's definitely unappealing.

My server Renee made my first visit to this restaurant enjoyable. I ordered the veggie pizza with fresh asparagus and a delicious Greek salad.
