Smara Djilali - Val de Briey

Regular customers for 20 years, we love meeting up for lunch with colleagues in this restaurant which doesn 't look like much but in which you will never be disappointed by the quality of the dishes prepared by Djilali (on slate, which changes daily, with a simple meat accompanied by fries to suit everyone 's tastes with so-called grandmother 's dishes such as traditional calf 's head, tripe, pig 's mouse, couscous, osso bucco... . You will also not be disappointed by the quantity you will have on the plate (see couscous photo attached or even by the no-fuss naturalness of his friendly wife Martine at service. I laugh when reading some unjustified negative comments: first of all, what is the idea of accompanying friends to lunch when you have neither money nor the desire to consume? The boss 's reaction is completely understandable, you stay at home instead of monopolizing a place unnecessarily even though this restaurant only has around ten/fifteen tables. The same for coming to drink a coffee at 11:30 a.m. and wanting to sit at a table while the first lunch service is approaching: ultimately you make yourself very small and drink your coffee for half an hour standing at the bar... the bosses supposedly liars because the restaurant is not open 24 hours a day? To my knowledge, they do not have Alzheimer 's and know their schedules perfectly if you ask them by telephone. As for the times indicated on Google, they are correct (see attached ...I simply call them dishonest customers who don 't know how to live!

The best restaurant to eat between noon on Briey, boss and super nice bosses, top food, plate often overfilled, you get a nice fight when you don't finish. I strongly advise to go there to eat something other than the m we find in the area to raise between noon thanks for the reception and service!

Come and see yourself for the bad comments I can't say.
