On Wednesday, July 5th, we had an amazing experience at the Epicurean restaurant!!! From the cocktails to the food, the decor, the atmosphere, and the service, everything was outstanding!! I highly recommend the beef carpaccio on the summer menu and the trout carpaccio!!! Truly excellent dishes that offer an explosion of flavors and textures in every bite! As for the cocktails, my favorite is the Strawberries-me, an excellent fresh and tasty summer drink! Thank you again Maxime and Fanny, we will definitely be coming back to see you xx.
I absolutely loved it, really! The atmosphere is perfect, with a very high quality of food, local ingredients, creative homemade cocktails, a beautiful wine list, a dynamic and unpretentious team, impeccable service, and we love the prices, which are far from being excessive. A huge favorite! Congratulations to the owners for this lovely restaurant!
We had a fantastic evening at the bar watching the team work like a well-oiled machine. We tried a delicious cocktail and were blown away by the finely crafted dishes, with ingredients that were incredibly fresh! The wine selection was also impressive, making it hard to choose. In short, we will be back... especially for your Cromesqui. Thank you and keep up the good work with the great food and drinks.
We had great hopes for this restaurant. When we went through the door, we knew something was going on. We sat in their unfinished semi-closed veranda. The floor was only the plywood floor and did not look clean, not safe as these...extreme food inspections. There was no room for coats or hats, so our stuff placed on the dirty floor. I am not fluent bilingual, so had difficulty decrypting the menu and all the nuances of the dishes. This together with my comment on the price of wine seemed to be annoying by our waitress. My husband noticed that she had a face behind my back. It just went downhill. The server was inconspicuous and repulsive. Some of the dishes were oversalted or polluted, as was the case with the oysters. We talked to the manager at the end of our very short dinner, he did not recognize our unhappy experience, but defended his bad manners of his waitress. This place can be popular with locals, but as visitors to the region, it has no good hospitality or above average cuisine. A really bad experience.
I was twice in this restaurant and every time was a pleasure. The food is farm to table and the dishes are for sharing. You have recommended 4 courses per pair. I really loved the smoked tomatoes, it was amazing and the last time that the... cable was spectacular. The menu always changes, but what never changes is the creativity and the temperament of each plate. One of the best restaurants I had. A must for food.
