La Bottega Vail

Just up on Meadow Drive in Vail is this amazing jewel of a restaurant. We wandered last minute and sat at the bar and enjoyed a wonderful dinner together with exceptional service. The food had so many layers of taste in everything we ordered. I recommend a reservation as the summer starts in Vail. I love this restaurant and will be back soon because it wants to order so much more on the menu.... and next time save space for dessert

There is nothing more to ask for great food, great service, great location. The ambience is quite causal jeans and a flannel work, while the food borders on fine dishes. My wife and I shared two smaller antipastis and ordered our own pastas. A perfect amount after a long day of calorie burning. The only bummer.... You need to call for reservations. Call well in advance. The book is fast.

I don't value restaurants much, but some are worth it. Shows the best authentic Italian in Vail. La Nonna is my place and I never had a bad meal here. I enjoy sitting at the bar and the energy around them are the bartenders great and know how to do what you want. Great staff that feels like family. The food is in portion size and taste on site. I usually get the Veal Special that in my picture, but love the Pastas too. The pig's stable is also excellent. I have taken many of my friends and family here and it is never disappointed, and when they come back to the city always the first place they want to go. Large wine list also and with solid by the glass options including Barolo. Can sometimes be hard to get a reservation, but they always seem to find a way... highly recommended.

The best cocktail bar scene in Vail. This is an exceptional and well-rounded restaurant. Great food great service great mood.

Excellent dinner. The ravioli was a highlight but the lamb chops and Caesar salad were also excellent
