Bidra med feedbackNow called Enna Rasam, it is a self service restaurant, with an AC dining area which has table service. Get down at Ruby Hall Metro station and you'll find this place just adjacent to the station. The food is fresh and tasty. If you are in the area and craving for some veg south indian fare, this place won't disappoint.
Sambar I think the word itself is enough to explain about it. Ofcourse it's a south indian restaurant but with some uniqueness with it. Apart from Idli Dosa they also serves Bisi Belle Bhat and Mangalore Buns(Similar to Puri but a bit sweet in taste). This outlet is located on crowdy lane near Pune Station and Ruby Clinic i.e. Dhole Patil road. The place have huge sitting area and quite clean and neat. As it is situated in crowded area so the ambience is not so pleasant but its good. Also they have self service. What I tried? Set Dosa : 3 dosa sprinkled with carrot, beetroot pieces and topped with lot of butter, enough to make you drool. Paired with 2 types of sambar and coconut chutney. I loved it. It was Delicious. Veg Thali (South Indian meal) : A fully loaded thali enough for a person with an average appetite. Comes with 3 big puris, 2 subji, 2 sambar, curd, sweet, papad and buttermilk. A perfect appetite and Value for money. Gulab Jamun : Dish of the day, huge gulab jamun which were soft as well as warm so that's what is a cherry on the top. Scrumptious. Balanced in the sweetness. Pineapple Sheera : Pineapple sheera was nice in taste with some chunks of Pineapple. I found it a bit less sweet but again it is matter of choice as I love sweet. Filter Coffee : Must try one, I am actually not a fan of filter Coffee but by tasting this I became one. The coffee ground was actually balanced somewhere between 80% arabica and 20% robusta thats why the taste was mind blowing. Overall it was a pleasant experience. The service is good as well as the food is worth every penny. . . . ₹ahul Mo₹e.
Went for lunch on a Sunday. Wasn't too crowded. It's a self service restaurant but the staff is helpful and will take your token and deliver at the table Very efficient staff Food was fantastic. Fresh and flavourful. Only disappointment was that they messed up my takeaway order. Had ordered upma and rava idli. The idli was not packed

Sambar needs no introduction. They serve southern – Karnataka style South Indian foods. Sambar’s filter coffee is the best you can get in Pune and while you are here treat yourself with typical kannadiga styled Dosas, idli, bisi bele bhaat and much variety. BTW if you are truly a foodie… eat with your hands. It’s the best ever experience… right?? (Use the washbasin We begin with : #Beetroot Rasam – never heard seen tasted before… so was looking forward. Rasam looks so good, taste was strong, spicy, tangy served hot…deliciously refreshing. I loved it! Slurp slurp… #Ghee_Podi_Idli – soft small idli tossed in ghee with loads of podi chutney, kadi patta. Served with sambar, red (tomato and white(coconut chutney. I poured the sambar on top of idli. My fingers all in and taste very yummy. #Mangalore_Buns – I was eyeing these but a lot of time went in taking pictures. Crispy fried made with ripe bananas, curds etc – eat this famous breakfast and you are sorted for the day! This one was good to go! #Open_Butter_Masala_Dosa #Ghee _Masala_Dosa #Paper_Masala_Dosa Homely authentic taste with use of kadi patta, loni(instead of butter , ginger, fresh coriander etc… dosas were good. The tomato chutney, coconut chutney, potatoes sabji and sambar were same in every dish . Moderate spicy, coarsely grind chutney, non spicy potatoes sabji though sambar was flavourful. A tad sweet taste is just like it is usually made in a Karnataka household. Before it becomes debatable with preferences lets move to the next dish… #Curd_Vada – OMG the best ever. Vada was super spongy, soaking in sweet cold curds. Melt in mouth…to to delicious. Fresh coconut pieces in the vada. Most ideal as mid meal where you need your dose of probiotics, energy and cooling down.. Ufff summer heat. New introduction #Veg_Biryani_Parotta_Combo (Luncheon Thali contains a mix veg korma, mirchi pakoda, mix dahi raita, pickles, papadam, parotta, veg biryani, semiya payasam(vermicelli seviyan and buttermilk in a glass. I absolutely loved it. Everything was delicious, good with spice, flavours, pleased to see a mirchi pakoda , dahi raita a perfect combination for a spiced veg biryani and moderate sweetness in Payasam . I would have personally loved bisi bele bhaat instead of a biryani in thali however Swapnil may have thought otherwise keeping in mind a Punekari. #Gulab_Jamun – made with milk powder. Very tempting to look at (very brown sprinkled with dry fruits mawa spoon cuts the gulab jamun open easily. You can see the sweetness oozing out. Turned out average in taste. #Pineapple_Sheera famous popular Bangalore sweet – halwa of rava, pineapple pieces and ghee. Wow!Delish . No meal is complete without a strong filter coffee. And this was a great one! Now that we all leave our homes almost daily for business, jobs or attending colleges etc, keeping ourselves safe, we do eat out. . Will highly recommend you visit Sambar in any of the branches, my experience was amazing. Rating : 4.5 5 Rates. : pocket friendly Quality : fresh food Service : Quick Hygiene cleanliness: 4 5
