Umi Sushi - Vacaville

Favorite sushi spot in town! I’ve been going for years and always have a great experience (and can’t beat 1$ sake bombs). Super clean inside and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

My husband loved their Sushi. I had a bento box with beef teriyaki and tempura mix. It was really good. They were pretty busy. The only downside was the restaurant was hot and stuffy.

Met here for Grandfather Birthday. Vacaville was the midpoint for 2 families. Restaurant is easily accessed from I 80. Food: Good. Unlike some discount sushi places, different rolls had distinct tastes. The Jalopeno Poppers were perfectly crisp and subtly flavored. Raw salmon--nigiri and rolls--fresh and fatty mm mmm. Price: Very good. $110 with tip with 6 stuffed people. Service: Poor. The younger waitresses did not seem to want to be there at all. No smiles or knowledge of menu or specials including the online advertised birthday discount. The more experienced Korean server and the sushi chefs were personable and insightful and smiled. Sadly, they were not our direct servers.

We had an extraordinary time in this restaurant. We enjoyed the first-rate atmosphere and the food. The staff members were super affable. I am glad we finally managed to try this restaurant.

The food is good and it's a pretty laid back restaurant. I've become a repeat customer
