Chen's China House - Uxbridge

In an old KFC building, the atmosphere is what it is. they have table service and are very friendly and remember their customers, but everyone is greeted with a friendly hallo! eating is usually very fresh and quite tasty and they will also try custom. typical farewell nothing special, but quite tasty and good portions. the prices are very good and they are very timely with the orders. good restaurant for the money.

Order a pick-up for two a and we were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price (with control $24) and the quantity provided. the good was punctual and very satisfying. in that we had enough left for a second meal. great worth.

Sorry to say but this food is low quality. The chicken corn soup had some very weird meat in it that had me wondering if it was even chicken? The rest of the food is very bland. Best to try somewhere else.

The best Chinese food in uxbrige. Price right! Great service. There is always help from the owner to help you choose what to order. Great combo deals. Great eat in house.

I don't know how people can say the food is really good or Yummy for China House the food is 2nd rate at best over processed over cooked and really poor quality. Now you want really good Chinese Food drive into Pickering Village and go...to Oriental Kitchen 44 old Kingston Rd now that my friends is really good Chinese Food the way it should taste not over processed not whipped up in 10 min's. Fresh, excellent food and worth the time and gas to get there. Won Ton soup has large pieces of pork not little shreds of it, the chicken fried rice is of really good quality with real chunks of chicken, and the Cantonese Chow Mein is fresh and doesn't have that slime in it. Orders usually take about 20 min and I suggest you call ahead and if you order on a week end it will take longer or any special holiday it could take up to 4 hours. But it's worth every penny. There is something to be said about a restaurant that is really busy all the time. I have been going there for over 30 years but you have to give local business a shot and the China House should be shot!!! it was just horrible we threw out 3/4 of the food we just couldn't stand eating any more (a waste of $40.00) and we will never eat there again. Bring back Kentucky Fried Chicken who was in that spot they where always busy not like this place that never is or better yet put in a Starbucks...now we are cooking with gas!!!... I know if you eat there once and then try Oriental Kitchen you will be driving to Pickering Village all the time. Even the egg rolls are great I sometimes get 2 just for me and my fav is shrimp lobster sauce.....to die for!! Bottom line Uxbridge does not have a really good Chinese Restaurant and that is disappointing.
