The Vasquez 1935 - Uvalde

I can’t recommend the Vazquez. It feels like white washed Mexican food, options are limited. I ended up getting a burger which, to be fair, was good. I wanted tacos or fajitas. Queso tastes like it comes out of a can. Service was also subpar. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

The staff was very slow, and they were inattentive. Our water was not filled food came out slow. To top it off we were charged for extra chips. The food was fair nothing to write home about. It was just not a great experience what so ever. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Visiting the area we traveled to Uvalde and found this gem. We recommend if in the area to stop by. The history behind the restaurant is interesting, it is super clean...bathrooms included, Jewels our server was very kind and kept the tea glass filled, and the food was delicious! Definitely will go back before we leave the area. Oh, and we had the opportunity to visit with one of the owners who was so sweet. (I think Lori.
