Ellis Gourmet Burger - Utrecht

Good experience. We ordered about Socialdeal but had no way to reserve a place. We went in and they made room for us, which was excellent. The waiter was solid, but the kitchen took a loooong time to pick up our orders. We sat there waiting an hour before our main course. Nevertheless, the food was solid, the cocktail was beautiful and the dessert was amazingly large. Would recommend if you are not in a hurry!

Appetizers (onion rings and Kalameres) were delicious. The drinks (belief virgin and son of a peach) were ok / little light. The Burger (Ellis special 2.0) unfortunately chew burger meat, not much sauce, but good fresh toppings. Fries (sweet potato) was tasty, but I liked the Koleslaw, so I later changed it to normal frits. The service was good and friendly. Would recommend pages and appetizers, but burgers and drinks were overwhelming.

Friendly service. Restaurants have many burgers options in beef and other meat, as well as four vegan/vegetarian options (September 2018). Restaurant is a bit dim illuminated with brown, black and dark gray as colors. Burger Ellis Special 2.0 was done as promised medium. Juicy and good taste.

Great service attention, friendly people. Roquefort burger was lovely but tiny. After one we were still ungry, so kind of forced to ask for an extra french fries which are not big enough either. Maybe something to get better in the futur I hope.
