Marco's Pasta Bar & Restaurant - Uster

This was not the cheapest place to get a pizza, but it was the best that we had in Switzerland (and we ate a lot of pizza). The crust was amazing. We enjoyed dining outside enjoying the view of the lake.

Marco is a one man show. All the seat were taken in his restaurant (about 25) and he took orders, brought starters and drinks, cooked entrees, chatted up the customers, and brought the bill... All by himself! Pasta was great! Sauces were tasty. And the...price was great!

My friend and I stumbled on marcos last night and were so pleasantly surprised. marco himself was there, and shared the history of his restaurant and then made an dinner for us that was wonderful. we started with sautéed spinat. mandling and rusting in a garlic broth, with warm wonderful broth. I was then treated with a mascarpone and tomato sauce with garnel, while my friend mascarpone and tomatenrigatoni had pfefferoni, olive and freshly spun prosciutto. everything was prepared right in front of us. very recommend to stop when they are in the mood for some delicious dips in a welcoming and warm environment.

We were on a group tour and had only thirty minutes to eat. we found marcos and were not disappointed. the food was excellent and they can see the pasta prepared before them. marcos was able to record our 30-minute time limit.

Fresh pasta, cooked by marco, before them. large and tasteful portions. for drinking; wine, beer, water, cola. faster service, with take possible. search for easy food, recommend.
