Mellany's Bakery - Usk

Me and my father showed up late just as they were closing up on June 10th. They were more then happy to take care of us and get us fed. The food was amazing and the pie we got to go was fantastic.Thank you so much for the last minute hospitality. Will eat again if we find ourselves out that way again!

Stopped into this amazing spot in Usk while biking through. Began with a fresh out of the oven chai snickerdoodle cookie. Perfect pairing of flavors. I’m hooked. I had 2 tacos with black beans. The corn shells were huge and generously stuffed. The beans were perfectly seasoned and the cheese was all melty in the middle. So yummy. My partner had the ramen shrimp special. He said the broth was rich in flavor and the noodles had perfect texture. If you’re ever in the vicinity of Usk, I encourage you to try Mellany’s. You will not regret it. The menu is expansive and you sure to find something to tempt your palate. As for me, I just want another cookie. ?

We each had a taco salad. Large portions and very fresh. I wish I had saved room for some of the delightful home baked from scratch pastries! Cute place, it felt like my grandma's home. Service was friendly and informative.Food: 5/5

Couldn't wait to leave this review. Eric and Mellany are wonderful hosts and Mellany has a gift for cooking and baking. The burgers were fantastic! We also bought 3 pastries after lunch and they didn't make it home, they were too good not to eat in the car! See you guys next time.Food: 5/5

Usk has a gem! Good, simple, delicious lunches. Super nice service and an adorable dining room. I wish I had room for a treat after lunch, yummy selection of pastries.Food: 5/5
