Hosteria Y America - Ushuaia

What a great hotel sitting on a small hill overlooking the bay of ushuaia. the reception was extremely helpful in the consultation at tours and even booked us a boat tour through the harbour. our room was one of the penthouse suites and nothing was skipped. the bed was very comfortable. I would have spent another night just to enjoy the hotel room.

Friendly staff,Sofia and Julio at the front desk,answers all questions and give us best suggestions,about attractions ,prices etc. The rooms are huge end comfortable,good heat,there is cozy reading room,and a good restaurant,with a nice wiew.Breakfast include and yummy.

Friendly and helpful reception; the room was satisfactory clean bedding and the bathroom worked but with signs of wear and tear; decent restaurant. It's a short but steep walk into the centre. As it's the only place I've stayed in Ushuaia I don't know if you can do better, but I'm sure you could do a lot worse.

First time traveling here. Had a great experience. Beautiful place, great food and great service on both the hotel and the restaurant. I highly recommend this place.

Mixed experience. Probably 50/50. The main good thing is all staff that I spoke to, including the housekeeper, were nice and friendly. The room looks modern and the bed was very comfortable. The bedsheet feels and smells fresh. The housekeeper did a great job to keep the room clean and tidy everyday. The main bad thing is about the level of noise you can hear in the room, and I’m not talking about the noise from the outside. It was like I could hear everything that the room next door was talking word-by-word. I could also hear the mobile phone vibrating on the table, let alone the ringtone. I checked the wall, and it seemed to be just a plasterboard which may not have been insulated at all and god knows how thin it is between rooms. The breakfast was average, but at least it keeps me going until lunchtime. During my visit (Apr’19) there was some construction work going on, but the work itself didn’t take place when I was at the property.
