Bidra med feedbackCame here as part of the gate 1 tour dinner. It wasn't a buffet, but we ordered dishes in advance. The food was okay. There was an individual who played music there that was beautiful, although probably the main purpose was to sell his CDs.
This is a lunch buffet, but they are open for our tour group for dinner. Our guide seems to choose a good taste fine Peruvian food and all the places he arranges for included meals are much and quite good. Chicken soup...Peruvian soup both good. Another Chinese inspired dish called “Lomo salado” is essentially stir fry pepper beef. Beef is a little hard. trout is good, but tastes like salmon. Service: surprisingly very efficient with 1-2 servers and 2 persons cooking on the back. Since our tour group gave our selection (1 out of 3 set menu), the food came quite and no waste. For e.g. who ordered the chicken soup, got a further batch of Peruvian soup first and then after like 5 minutes. Maybe this place works better than a buffet setting.
The restaurant is very nice and big, but I didn't like the food too much and it was cold, so I had to ask to warm it because I hate to eat cold dishes. I guess it wasn't worth the price for a buffet because they don't have much food left when we're there.
After a busy morning the tour stayed here for lunch. The tour group organized us in what we had to do, but the restaurant was not ready for us, because there was hardly any food available. Since I had to eat, I had no choice. I was very disappointed with the selection. The buffet was a little bland and inspiring. It seemed like we came at the end of the service. spaghetti, vegetables, bread, fish, chicken, salad, some moderate desserts including a Jello. When we left, more food came out. Hot drinks and coca tea. Beer extra.
We ate here as part of a touring group. We had placed our orders ahead of time but when we arrived the staff appeared to be totally unprepared. Service was extremely slow and the food plain and bland.
