Cielito Lindo - Urubamba

Cielito Lindo means "Beautiful Heaven"!.. and this is certainly what would you find when you step on to this magical place!We asked Silvia its owner, about her amazing idea and the incredible space she has recreated, and she told us she dreamt about the name and how she was going to decorate the place. This "little piece of heaven" is another reality, it pulls you out the exterior world and drags you into a world of Love, fantasy and sweet! All the chairs, walls and dishes has a heavenly touch! as they have been hand painted by them one by one. Every time we go only for a little moment we end up staying for hours! You feel like you are really in a place outside the planet. Silvia and her husband have taken all the time preparing amazing desserts and treats for us to enjoy! They prepare everything by themselves, ( you always find them cooking something in the kitchen) and look for the best ingredients they can find in the market. I once found her rushing around with several boxes filled with candies and cakes and told me there was a mother coming by to pick up all the treats for a birthday... It is fair to say that you won't find just desserts here, you can have wonderful sandwichs and "molletes" typical Mexican food that will make your stay prolonged! which by the way it's a nice slice of bread with black beans sauce somehow fried with avocado, covered with cheese and grated at the oven for some minutes. They are served in a very nice dish with "pico de gallo" which is fresh tomato, coriander and onions and a slight "rocoto" which gives the dish a little touch of "picante"...I could continue recommending the list of amazing dishes you can try, and also the wonderful company you will have here at this Little piece of Heaven but I encourage you to try it by yourself!Stop, and rest here a while, on your way to your tour, or transfer, you won't regret it at all...Dont miss this opportunity of travelling instead to the Heavens while you are in Cusco!

Very sweet husband and wife team from Mexico set up this delicious little spot. Very cute place the decor is adorable, reminds me a little of the famous Serendipity dessert house in NY. Nice selection of all house-made desserts, ice creams and candies. Free wifi. Great place to take the kids.

VISIT THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE IN SACRED VALLEY. Stunning tea room and amazing cakes. Lovely atmosphere. Reminded me of a tea room in Tokyo. Cannot recommend this place enough.

A fun place with wonderful decor and great service, after a long day of hiking and climbing this is the perfect location to enjoy a good cup of coffee, tea or a very tasty piece of cake. I had the chocolate mousse and the cafe the olla which was to die for.

Best deserts in urubamba, adorable decor, the owners are warm and welcoming, and did I say best deserts? This is the place to go if you love to treat your self.
