If it were not for the fact that it is almost impossible to arrive due to the state of the two unique roads. Only holes. You eat well enough. But you pay too much. Full of animals inside the restaurant (dogs and cats) unhygienic. It will be for this reason that on Friday evening we were the only ones in the whole restaurant.
Embarrassing narrow and unpaved road to say the least
A real tavern of the past. A museum of memorabilia collected during a lifetime by the wonderful year-old owner Giancarlo, unmistakable, always with his toothpick at the corner of his mouth. Excellent food prepared by Mrs. Angela, fresh homemade pasta with organic products. Red turnip and poppy seed candies, tricorns with radicchio and taleggio, pumpkin ravioli and fossa cheese. And then mixed crostini, tasty salad, grilled meat, rabbit .... Excellent house wine, pure San giovese. Characteristic of the inn are the animals, dogs and cats that are free to wander around the hall, just like in a real home. So who does not love animals is better to choose another place. Wonderful the atmosphere that you breathe and the post-dinner chat with Giancarlo who has had a life full of events and places visited.
The isolated place is served by a single road, sometimes uneven but it is soon forgotten once you arrive on the spot and your eyes are restored with the splendid panorama. The cuisine is strictly home-made and there is nothing to object to about quality and quantity. The company of dogs and cats is the right hat for an environment like this, as long as you love the company of dogs and cats. The company of Attila, a big black cat who curled up on my legs after dinner in exchange for pampering, was very much appreciated. We will definitely be back!
