Perkins Bakery - Urbandale

This place is awesome! I am always greeted with a smile from the employees and the food is so wonderful, I never have a complaint when I come here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. I will continue to come here on a regular basis!

Picked up an order had to sit for over 30 minutes i think they were butchering the animal when i arrived 1 item cooked per customer at a time get it together would not recommend this place

The quality of service in the Perkins locations around town in general has declined unfortunately. Like everywhere, it 's blamed on short staffing. I agree with that to a point but more likely poor management. For example, the last time I was there, I ordered dessert. Everything I ordered I heard we are out . Finally my FOURTH choice was available. How is this possible when most of the desserts I selected aren 't made at the restaurant? They are ordered. Last few times, took close to 15 minutes or more to even be acknowledged much less take our drink order. It 's definitely not the Perkins type of service I 've been used to for years.

Of all the breakfast places you could choose, I'm not sure why you'd pick this one. The food is expensive and not well made compared to the alternatives in the area. Its dining area is not well maintained either. The staff was nice.
