Had the 5 course tasting menu (technically 6 because we had the extra cheese dish too! this evening with family and friends; it was incredibly tasty, the service was fantastic and all around a great experience. Thank you to the Red Lion team for a wonderful evening! Service: 5

Didn't stay here but just came for dinner Food drinks: Fabulous dinner with old friends here last Friday. Never visited before but certainly will again. The food was of a very high standard, worth of a big city top restaurant but the venue retains the charm of a classic English village pub. For us, having just moved to an area we don't know at all well, this was a great find. Service: 5

The restaurant is just amazing: we had the crab tart and baked mozzarella for starters, the steak fillet sharing for two and it was great. The desserts excellent as well! Service: 5 Location: 5
