Rossberghof - Unterklettgau

Later, on my hiking trips through various parts of the Swiss, I often have been from restaurants that would have tried to visit me, but that was not due to the pandemic. I could only find the most beautiful places in. I remembered I was planning to return to another time at some point. in the south-facing, a low mountain range of the northern juras, I saw a traditional looking restaurant, the rossberghof' with an old kutsche in the vicinity. on a hiking sign it said that we were in a height and not much higher in this opposite. I could imagine that this is a popular place to come for a meal, away from everything. there is a large parking lot at the rossberghof, and since many want it to start a walk, you are asked how it says on a board to go for a consumption too. on two more walks I went past here from different directions. the most beautiful walk was the one from Osterfingen to the Radegg ruins, which arrived only a few minutes later at the rossberghof. then I went through the small, uninhabited hair tal back to wilchingen. another hike led me from the medieval town of ninekirch over the Wannenberg to the rossberghof, which was a branch and then continued towards the wasenhütte and the village guntmadingen. Looking for an authentic place in the middle of nature, then rossberghof will be your destination. the autumn is a perfect season to visit. after a minute walk or a minute car drive the hill from the next towns wilchingen or ninekirch, on a narrow road and through a dense forest, they reach the restaurant on a clearing, like a small oasis surrounded by meadows and colored leaf trees. when they arrive, they will immediately notice the warm and cozy ambiente. the restaurant offers a beautiful selection of deliciously prepared, hearty Swiss cuisine and a variety of seasonal foods. we enjoyed wild game, delicate brain and wild fillets and a delicious wild boar, all well served. her wine of the house, a young dome rossberg wii (merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc) fits perfectly to eat. the service is fast and very friendly. for many years we have come to this restaurant and have never been disappointed. a classic travel destination on our list, whenever we are in the region schaffhausen. many thanks for a beautiful all-round dinner experience!

War okay aber nicht überragend... Zu lange Wartezeiten und essen war nichts Spezielles... aller guten dinge sind 3..

Neuerdings alles gut organisiert und runderneuert. Die Pferde können nun auch draussen sicher in sauberen Boxen stehen und die Reiter somit beruhigt essen. Wasser und Heu stehen bereit. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und gutes Essen. Für schweizer Verhältnisse gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Nicht nur für Reiter zu empfehlen.

Schöne Aussicht. Freundlicher Service. Gute Weine leckeres Essen...lohnt den Weg auf den Berg...kann man gut einkehren.
