Chambers Bay Grill - University Place

Nicole, our server, made the evening! She guided us through the menu and was a fabulous contribution to our experience.. made it feel like our place! She will be the reason to come back again and again.. Thanks Nicole! Food was great too and it felt very reasonably priced.

In my opinion, while the views outside are astounding and the food good, the service here is terrible. On both occasions in the last two months, we had to repeatedly ask for things like the initial cup of coffee or water or (you name it). As an example, after asking 4 times in 40 minutes for a cup of coffee, my husband went and got a cup and poured it himself. On the prior occasion, my friends went and got a pitcher of water to serve ourselves because we had asked 3 times for water to two different people. The staff is friendly though. If you don't mind slow and non-responsive service, it's a nice view to enjoy with a decent meal.

Nothing beats Chambers Bay in July to watch the sunset between the Islands and over the hills.

We had to wait for over 1 hr and 15 minutes to get our food and this is a golf course where tee times have to be met. They needed to move back our tee times because we were so late in being served. Food was good but they have to do something to improve the time it takes to get the food.

Service was outstanding. I booked on-line for last minute lunch for 8. Within 15 minutes I had a call asking if we wanted to be seated inside or on the patio. We then add +2 fifteen minutes prior to arrival. They had the table reset by the time we arrived. Our waitress was also lovely, food was great and Blood Orange Mimosa's were delicious! Great Saturday afternoon dining experience.
