Bidra med feedbackWe had a fantastic dinner. Everything was absolutely delicious and our waiter was attentive and funny, but not transferred. The fresh mozzarella in the Caprese salad was amazing. Loved the pork salt imbocca. I try wherever I go and that was one of my favorites. We had no room for dessert, but the cook sent us a limestone and that was the perfect end.
I've been to Nando Milano twice and loved it. Probably entered glowing reviews here on Open Table. But the recent visit was a disappointment. I think my dish was Linguine al Luciano, basically a frutti di mare pasta. Two people ordered Sea Bass and a Saltimbocca. My court was cool, not hot enough, and I should have sent it back. It was as if my dish was first finished in the kitchen and it was waiting to be cooled while the fish and meat finished their kitchen. My friend said the Sea Bass was okay. We go back, but this special night was not pleasant.
We love Nando! Food is always delicious and fresh. The service is fantastic, you cannot go wrong! This is our visit to the restaurant to bring visitors. Eating from all amazing places in Chicago, this place is still our favorite! Thank you!
A great place for Date Night or just to pick up with friends. The service is amazing and so personal. The food is abundant and the environment is inviting.
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENT. AFTER SEARCHING ONLINE THROUGH OPEN TABLE FOR RESERVATIONS, I SAW THEIR LATEST TIME SLOT WAS 9PM. IDEALLY, I WANTED RESERVATIONS FOR 9:30PM SO I CALLED AND SPOKE WITH THE HOST THAT REASSURED ME THAT I DID NOT NEED A RESERVATION TO BE SEATED AT 9:30PM. I FOUND THIS VERY HARD TO BELIEVE ON A FRIDAY EVENING IN A BUSTLING NEIGHBORHOOD SUCH AS WICKER PARK. SO AS A SAFETY NET I TOLD THE HOST THAT I WOULD STILL MAKE 9PM RESERVATIONS BUT I 'D MAYBE GET THERE CLOSER TO 9:15-9:20PM. I WAS ASSURED THIS WAS FINE. WHEN ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND ARRIVED AT 9:15PM. THE RESTAURANT WAS PACKED AND THERE WAS NO HOST AT THE DOOR. WE WAITED ABOUT 10 MINS FOR THE HOST/MANAGER TO COME SPEAK WITH US. I MADE CONTACT WITH HIM MULTIPLE TIMES BEFORE HE WALKED OVER AND HE PRETTY MUCH IGNORED OUR EXISTENCE. WHEN HE FINALLY ARRIVES TO THE FRONT, I INFORMED HIM THAT I WAS THE INDIVIDUAL THAT HE SPOKE WITH ON THE PHONE EARLIER IN THE DAY AND STATED WE HAD RESERVATIONS AT 9PM. HE SEEMED TOTALLY UNCONCERNED WITH OUR PRESENCE AND STATED IT WOULD BE A 10MIN WAIT. AS A MANAGER OR HOST YOU 'D AT LEAST EXPECT SOME TYPE OF APOLOGY FOR THE WAIT SINCE WE HAD RESERVATIONS AND ON TOP OF THAT WERE REASSURED THAT WE WOULD HAVE 0 PROBLEM BEING SEATED AT 9:30PM. AT THIS POINT IT IS NOW 9:45PM. WE STILL AREN 'T SEATED AND THE MANAGER IS OFFERING NO TYPE OF CONSOLATION FOR OUR LONG WAIT. HE HAD THE NERVE TO CATCH AN ATTITUDE WHEN I ASKED HOW MUCH LONGER THE WAIT WOULD BE AND IF HE REALIZED WE 'VE NOW BEEN WAITING FOR 25 MINS AND HAD A RESERVATION. HIS ATTITUDE WAS TOTALLY CONDESCENDING IN NATURE AND HE STATED THAT WE COULD GO SOMEWHERE TO WAIT IF WE DIDN 'T WANT TO WAIT THERE. I STATED WOULD THEY GIVE US A CALL WHEN A TABLE WAS FREE AND HE STATED NO, WE SHOULD JUST COME BACK IN 10MINS. AT THIS POINT IT BECAME VERY CLEAR WE WERE NOT WANTED IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT. AS A BUSINESS OWNER MYSELF I FOUND THIS SERVICE VERY DISTURBING AND WE DECIDED TO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
