Bidra med feedbackNice sized liquor store. A lil bit for everyone. I stopped in to check out the Red Blend section. Very small selection to choose from. I felt there were white wine selections than red. Employees were friendly and several stop to see if any assistance was needed.
Staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. I asked for help looking for one specific item after I had searched for some time. The employee told me to look on the wall (where I had already looked). I still couldn 't find it after searching more, so I asked the employee if he could point it out to me since he knew where the item was. He was clearly bothered to have to help a customer instead of standing there talking to the other employee who also didn 't want to help. He then commented this is why I 'd rather work at the Tampa location because he wouldn 't have to help people there? I 'm not sure but I will not be back to this store. Sorry to inconvenience you with my question while trying to buy something! What the actual heck
While I 'm stuck at home on medical leave i been getting crazy n going nuts so why not!? And no i don 't mean lets drink! To the end of the world! As much as i want to i wont. I came here that day to look for a base for infusions. One of the best ways to keep your mind sharp is to constantly exercise it with tasks and learning new things. Always wanted to get better at making alcohol n other culinary things. While i wait for my home made Mead to mature, i thought i throw my hat in the Infusions bucket. Nothing hard at all. All u need is vodka (above 95 proof , Rum or tequila that are clear not amber. Cut up fruit n spices and just put it in the bottle n hide it somewhere that the sun wont bother it. Im going for the 6 month window cuz i like hard flavor on my stuff. I used Kumquats i bought at the festival in Dade city. I want to make something to mix with other stuff or even make a nice Kumquat Vodka cake mmmm that sounds amazing! While i was here one of the ladies help me find my vodka bottle. She took me to the shelf with the over 100proof I say the 150proof but i thought that be over kill lol Went with 100. I walked around n found my second infusion base, They had some of their alcohol on discounts. Found nice bottle of tequila for $8!! How crazy is that!? Its 80 proof but i needed this one for another type of infusion that doesn 't require over 95proof.; I 'm attempting to do a bottle of Green Dragon Tequila for special occasions . GD is code for Cannabis infused liquor. It 's ridiculously easy to make, given that u can buy your own Spices . Crush the spices, activate them in the oven (220f for 1-2 hours, do not burn it!! , then put it in the bottle n let it sit there for a couple days to month 's depending on what your aiming for. Remember! One shot, wait n then just enjoy the ride. Drink responsibly! I know things are hard now n its scary sometimes. You are not alone. Get some new hobbies to spark that beautiful energy in you. I also like coming to see what imported stuff they bring. They had Viking Mead but $30+ for a beer size bottle is no way, Maybe later. Looks cool for gifting. I bought some gourmet beer that was so nice going down n gave my such a nice gentle buzz. But i got the last bottle P_P i will come back n see if they bring more. It was a dark ale fermented n aged for longer time than regular ale. Lo
This is always a fun trip to just browse around and find something new. We went for some Deep Dive Vodka and found many flavors. We tried the lime and lemon as we already like the grapefruit. We also purchased some Jack Daniels Cinnamon as we like it so much better than Fireball. The gentleman who check us out was friendly and we talked of the new Lime Deep Dive. We will be back.
Unfortunately, this place in customer service is not good. Today Saturday, May 8,2021 I went to buy a rum with my girlfriend as a gift for tomorrow Mother's Day, and the cashier did not want to sell the liquor because my girlfriend was the only one to have an ID, because I did not have my ID to show cause I forgot it at home. My girlfriend was paying and show her license but since I was with her apparently it was required that all the people in the group (party of 2, 3 or more) show their ID in order to buy liquor even if you are not the person buying the liquor. However, I already have an account with them but that does not matter. It is the third time that I go to this place but i won't buy anything here again. And besides, they had never ask me or require to present more than 2 IDs or 1 ID per person the other times I bought at this store. The cashier who is an older lady was not friendly at all, as soon as we told her that I did not have my ID and that it was my girlfriend who was buying the liquor, not me, she rapidly grab the liquor as if we were going to run away with it. really?? What was that...? It doesn't make sense that I need it to provide my driver license if my girlfriend is in her 30s which I believe is a legal age and she presented her ID and was paying for the liquor. Anyway, it seems that this liquor store is not a place who wants to sell with a rule or policy that everyone has to show an ID if you are in the same group. Just don't go and waste your time going to this place where they won't treat you well and make nonsense demands.
