Restaurang Matador - Umeaa

I would not recommend ordering the fillet of beef. It was more similar to a minute steak and was served with chips. The dish was also extremely overpriced at £17.

This restaurant is a charming, no-frills establishment that serves delicious pizza of high quality. I typically don't have high expectations for pizza in Scandinavia, but I was pleasantly surprised by the care and attention put into each pie here. The owner personally waited on me during two out of my three visits over the course of a week-long business trip to Umea. While communication in English was a bit tricky, it was understandable given the location. The service was efficient, the prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous. I recommend trying the Greek salad and the kebab pizza – both were excellent choices.

Very nice pizza, you can tell that they use good products. It tastes great. And quite nice portion size for the money.

Nice little pizzeria on a street corner. The outdoor seating was comfortable and the pizza was really good. The staff..Naquim was very kind and welcoming.

Nice place, cozy, children friendly. When we were waiting for pizza we could enjoy documentary about sea life. Pizza was good
