The owner ? was rude and condescending. $3.50 for a drink is ridiculous and we were charged for chips and salsa. The bill was $80 for 3 elderly women at lunch. We will not be back.
El Pastor is a little store front restaurant with 6 tables, five of which are four tops. So depending on the time you get there, you could end up waiting.El Pastor honestly makes the best (Fridays only Tamales I have ever had with a good balance of filling to maize.I had the (chicken soft corn taco lunch combo with rice and delicious refried beans and two tamales with a tamarind agua fresca. All of which were excellent. I would drive to Umatilla again just for the tamales. I look forward to going back to try the enchiladas and thier giant $16.00 quesadilla. For that much money it should be interesting.|The only complaint I have is that the tortilla chips cost you extra and they tasted as if they were fried in old grease. I didn't eat but a few chips (bleh . The salsa was excellent with some heat, but no pico de gallo. Good little restaurant with some excellent food.
Food was rather bland and was not served hot. Service was very slow. There was only two other tables occupied. A cold beer would have been an improvement. I wouldn't recommend this place.
The food was homemade and very good. The sitting area is a bit small. Will do take-out next time.
