Some of the best pizza of my life. Friendly chef, and well worth the wait

Best pizza in Mendocino County.... Perhaps even Northern California. I have driven past this place for a while and always assumed it was just like any other convenience store pizza. That said, I couldn't have been more wrong. On this note, I finally gave it a chance and found myself looking at an artisan style pizza that beat any high end pizza in the area; such as, cultivo, Ukiah Brewery, or stock farm in hopland. I never do food reviews; however, I felt compelled to write this; considering how good this pizza was. Let me put it this way.... having this pizza is like experiencing that scene at the end of the Pixar movie, ratatouille, where the mean food critic takes one bite of his meal and instantly has an epiphany about how good it is. All this said, if your reading this review; you need to stop and go try this pizza. This pizza place is the very definition of a hidden gem and deserving of the praise it's receiving.

Surprised to find this hidden gem in the industrial part of town. Authentic high quality pizza made with craftsmanship. Very impressed

I consider myself a pizza afficionado being from the Northeast. I've found Dakine in Mendocino. The Woodfire ? man. Perfection!!
