Uhldinger Fischtheke

A stay at Lake Constance also always means a gastronomic highlight in fish. In the meantime, in some places around the lake, I have marked some places to which I repeatedly pilgere, even if I are close to them. Of course, there are not only groundwater fish on offer, but one can usually hope for a very high-quality and versatile and all-round appealing offer. In Unteruhldingen, a whole fisherman dynasty called garlic seems to be at work. A large company with different annexes? Maybe rival family members? Just a random name equal? I admittedly didn't fully record it until today. Stefan and Heidi Garlic are at least responsible for the moderately declared “Uhldinger Fischtheke”. Speaking of modesty: On Sylt or elsewhere, you would scream out an offer of this kindness and this quality loudly – here on Lake Constance you name a wonderful fish place with excellent offer and best service just simply “fish counter”. The first, but really important and, unfortunately, not to be neglected, point in front: In Uhldingen-Mühlhofen, parking is very rough and therefore absolutely golden. Those who do not accidentally travel by bicycle or even by foot (or are travelling by sea from Konstanz or from Meersburg or Friedrichshafen) will be very difficult to find a parking space for their mobile subset. Okay, most gastronomic establishments and hotels offer a very limited number of parking options for their own guests. The Uhldinger fish counter is exactly three. Uff, we got one of them! A rare happiness that we constantly cheer and immediately kulinarically implement at the counter! The local concept of Uhldinger Fischtheke is most likely to be called bistro or gardening. As a little hunger between me bought two fish rolls. I found both very tasty and I'll buy something there again when I'm close. The other dishes also looked really good! I look forward to tasting them! And also very friendly service.
