It is not a bad restaurant it is only very overpriced for what is offered. I ordered a jasmine tea and it was over $3. For a tea bag? I also ordered a sharp tuna reel for which they wanted $8. Most sushi places, the regular roles are about $5. Overall I got 1 Margarita (which was watery and not very good) a jasmine tea, salt and pepper shrimp (boiled well, but not tasted like salt or pepper), a soup (which was offered so that I, although it came with the meal, but was another $3 or so), and a tuna reel to go. Account for 1 person over $50. I felt demolished to pay the bill and my friend too. It could be a good date restaurant because it's pretty and overpriced, but I won't go back.
When we came here early on a Saturday, perfect timing, because if we had waited longer, we could not get a table they quickly occupied! And with amazing reason. That was the BEST eating experience I've had for a long time. Miss Taylor was our waitress and she was so friendly, cute and funny! She checked us and omg. The food!!!! All right. From appetizers to dessert, I wish I had several stomachs because I never wanted to finish the meal. And we ordered a lot of food for only two people, really, but we ate everything!!!!!! I can't wait to come back. I have to try everything on the menu!!!!!!
I had been wanting to experience Wasabi for about 3 years was finally able to guilt-trip a night for Mother 's Day. ? (Note, if it weren 't for taking a back road from the motel I was staying at due to storm damage to my home, I would never known where Wasabi was located. Being it was a Sunday night (8:30pm , the dim (probably going for intimate ambiance lighting first had me question if they were open. Once inside, the staff were pleasant attentive. We were seated right away. Our server [Brandon? was prompt, polite, willing to answer questions. I ordered the Baked Salmon Roll, for the appetizer, and Kung Pao scallops for the entrée. The Baked Salmon Rolls were better than I anticipated. An asparagus spear runs through it, but it 's flavor is not dominant. The Kung Pao scallops were not what I expected. [Japanese hibachi has influenced my expectations. I can-not- say they weren 't good, they were just not what I was expecting. They taste as if they 're coated in a breading. They don 't 'look ' coated, but they tasted coated, I 'm used to scallops only being seasoned seared. I will definitely go back! ? I 'm going to try a different entrée, but the appetizer will be a staple for me.
Ordered regular sushi combo (15 pieces) and they put 3 pieces smoked salmon, which has nothing to do with ?sashimi? at all, in there. Those are not fresh and taste weird.
