Villa Montez - Tyler

Villa Montez has my daughter's wedding last night and exceeded all expectations. All guests said how delicious the food was. Catering staff were friendly, efficient and prepared. Whether for catering or simply for dinner, I recommend 100%.

Villa Montez is one of the best restaurants in East Texas. The view is amazing and the history of the building makes it even more interesting. There are several different dining areas throughout the restaurant for another experience every time you visit. This includes a beautiful large terrace, bar area and cellar. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. Love the Latin inspired menu and some really good burgers. The steaks are perfectly cooked. The cocktails are very good. The bartender makes a very good old fashion. The desserts are very delicious. Can not wait to spend time on the terrace and try some of the other menu options.

The food is pretty good, but it is also cheap. The place / the atmosphere is really reason why we go? because the service is pretty bad, or maybe really bad! This one table in there, too, against a wall? is directly under a large screen tv!!! You play a football match last time. No one in the room is watching it and feels like I might have a seizure of 9? from the screen! Geez, lol

The first time here.. from the beaten path. Saturday at 5:10. Parking was simple and front. Versaut immediately, service was amazing, thank you, Phillipe!! Carne Asada had amazing char grilled taste, very delicate. Buttery! Seafood enchies had plenty of fish and shrimp. Not over cooked..just right. Whatever this sauce is, they have to whip and sell it! Only what I would suggest to them would be adding something pico de Gallo to the entries. Pico adds freshness! In total, I give a 5 to this restaurant!

It?s was a beautiful, nicely decorated villa restaurant! Our waitress made many mistakes with our orders and the food came out slow. But the food was delicious and reasonably priced! I?d go back to eat here in a heartbeat!
