Crawfish Bay - Tyler

This is my 2nd trip. Definitely recommend the shrimp, it was full of flavor, no sauce needed! Cajun tamales are GREAT! I also enjoyed the boudin, crab bites and the pineapple (but prepare yourself, it is packed with cajun heat! I still have lots to try, they have a nice variety on their menu. What really makes the place a favorite is that it has a really great atmosphere, filled with friendly staff and patrons. Outdoor seating, live music and kid friendly!

Food is full of flavor! Creative menu items along side traditional cajun items. The staff is friendly, love the outdoor dining and the evening entertainment! Keep up the good work!

We were pleasantly surprised at all the food choices. The food was awesome and the set up was great. Looking forward to returning and enjoying live music, seafood and the outdoor seating!

Ordered the shrimp, boudin, crab bites and for the first time, the fish tacos. Have always had nothing but excellent service and great food! But, the fish tacos weren't were I expected. Just a suggestion....Had great flavor but were very soggy. The fish in the tacos shouldn't be in a minced consistency but rather in a chunky consistency with a large amount of a coleslaw mixture. The coleslaw mixture should not be mixed so much with the coleslaw sauce. This, I felt, made the tacos soggy. Maybe consider adding another tortilla. Also, paying $3.50 per taco is a little too much, in my opinion. Love this place overall! Great restaurant for our community. There owners are local and coming up with different menu items when crawfish isn't in season. Way to go!
