Bidra med feedbackFood was ok. Service was great. Typical family diner. No one complained about their food, but it wasn't amazing. They have a lot of options to choose from. The pie was good.
Just left. The worst experience I have had here. Ordered sirloin and shrimp, asked to get a bowl of soup instead of regular serving. They brought me a cup of soup inside a bowl. The steak was half the size of my friend?s, who ordered the same thing. Also, half of it was fat, not medium rare, as I had asked, and full of gristle. Total was $25.00 dollars.
Such a great spot for food! We stopped by for dinner on our way home to Utah and it was 100% worth it! When most restaurants in the area are franchises, it was so nice to have some real authentic food from a custom menu! The scones were literally the best we?ve ever had and if I were to come back for just one thing?it?d be those cinnamon sugar scones. Amazing.
I had the Country Fried Skillet, was different, the steak was hard to tell it was there smothered in bland gravy, eggs and potatoes. Felt like I only had a few bites. I would skip this and try something else. No choices of jams, waitress brought me some blueberry sort of jelly thing, it was good, but I would prefer a choice. Appearance on this restaurant looked like it was a old black bear dinner, or they took decorations from there. Not busy at all, which says something about their locals, I saw more business meetings then families coming in. No Splenda, just sugar and nasty pink stuff. Service was good, no complaints there.
Awful experience! The staff was fantastic, but the food was just unacceptable. We visited about two years ago before everything closed down due to Covid, and it was wonderful, but returning a week ago was a huge disappointment. My chicken tenders were overcooked and lacking in flavor, and the gravy was bland. On a positive note, the cheddar and broccoli soup was quite tasty. Unfortunately, we won't be returning the next time we're in town!
