Auk Island - Twillingate

They sell wines made from everything except grapes. The food especially the chowder is good in value and tasty as well. Did I say the chowder was good???!?

We decided to drop in for a nice lunch today while we came out to check out the icebergs. The restaurant wasn't very busy the service was pretty slow. Waited over an hour to get our food order. Most of the meals were good, but the fish chips was a disappointment. The batter to fish ratio was 70:30 (70 being batter). The service was ok, but could definitely be better for a tourist area.
