Bidra med feedbackWe ordered T-bones steaks. I ordered additional plate to share steaks. Old lady was really rude and unfriendly for us. Steaks were burned directly on open fire... really unhealthy. We decided we were in this restaurant last time. Not recommended!!!!
We have been coming here for every visit in Obertauern for 3 years. If you’re going to have steak in Obertauern, no research required. Head straight to Tirolerkeller and have a memorable meal. The cut and quality of the steak was top notch.Service was spot on, very friendly and pleasant. Will visit again ! :
We visit them yesterday. Steak was made on open fire which give him smoky taste and with Racklet cheese was fantastic. As starter we take carpaccio which as one of best Strongly recommended.
REally not v promising from the outside, situated just off a mall but suddenly you are into a characterful cellar, food is steaks and cheese cooked over open flames, excellent would never have found it without recommendation thanks FLO!
Mehrfach wurde in den Vorbesprechungen Lokal und Wirt als "urig" bezeichnet, was eine freundliche Umschreibung für runtergekommen bis verwahrlost ist. Der miefige Geruch des Lokals und die ungepflegte Erscheinung des Methusalem-Wirts habe mich davon abgehalten die (teuren) Steaks zu testen. Da wird schwer auf amerikanisch gemacht (US-Flagge, Porterhouse-Steak, Flanksteak etc) und dann gibt es dazu gerade mal 2 österreichische Weine obskurer Herkunft , die schon von den Rebsorten (Grüner Veltliner, Zweigelt) her in in keinster Weise zu den Steaks (die kräftigere Weine verlangen) passen. Die Zubereitungsweise über ein paar brennenden Holzscheiten mag zwar für Lagerfeuerromantik sorgen, wirkt aber wenig vertrauenserweckend und ist sicherlich nicht gesund (Russ).
