It’s been many years since I went into a HJ restaurant and I won’t return again any time soon. There were staff scattered everywhere behind the counter but no one was taking orders and there was a line of us waiting. There was food all over the floor, the tables hadn’t been wiped down in a while, the vinyl seats were badly cracked and worn. The outdoor tables were gross and filthy. I don’t know how this restaurant isn’t a health violation. I asked for a caramel sundae, waited fifteen minutes before asking someone to check on my order, then the staff member who made it accidentally put chocolate in so she just squirted more caramel over the top.
