Steamers On The Strip - Tuscaloosa

I wanted to try some southern seafood and found this place close to our hotel. Great **** Mary's, even better price... 2.75! I wanted crab cakes bit there were out... I also wanted to try the gumbo bit they were put of that too.... They did offer anything off the menu for free as a nice gesture. Would have given 5 stars if they had what I really wanted.

Have been coming here for a while and the food is always great. My brother came into town to visit and this was the first place I had to suggest. He absolutely loved all the food but the seafood gumbo was his favorite, whereas I enjoyed the chicken and sausage gumbo. A must try for great seafood and those visiting out of state. D visited our table and checked on us throughout our visit and was very welcoming.

I visited Steamers for my birthday and ordered the Shrimp Scampi. It was delicious and the shrimp tasted fresh caught. I also ordered the Gator bites which were very tasty. The wait time was minimal and the server was very polite and sweet. I would recommend Steamers to another fellow Seafood Lover. The only suggestion I have from my recent visit is that the server would have known more information about the Gator Bites.

Ive had alot of gumbo from all over the south and D's Seafood gumbo takes the cake! Im not sure I'll ever order anything different because goodness was it delicious. Definitely check the place out. Ill be back for sure

We got there and there was a communication between the hostess and the waitress malfunction so my wife had to go get us a waitress. But the hostess came back and was very very accommodating and apologetic. My food was late to a my wive's but they were so friendly and apologetic and even gave us a discount for food. I will go back!!!! Making mistakes is human but trying to fix them is even more important!!! Awesome restaurant!!!!!!
