River - Tuscaloosa

Most creative and tasty catfish dish I've ever had.

Tasty food, good service. My only complaint is they wouldn't seat me until the other party member arrived. Practically the whole place was empty so plenty of tables. After driving an hour to dine, I would have liked to order an appetizer. Anyway, our waitress made up for it with fabulous service! Favorites: Fried okra and the salads.

Food and drinks are always great, and our waiter was really nice. However, if you can't remember an order, USE A PEN PAPER! I'm not impressed that you take an order from 5 people and don't write anything down, and then forget to put our order in and come back and go over our whole order again because you have forgotten it and then not even say I am so sorry or even acknowledge your mistake! Do better! Waiting 45 minutes for food after we had a 2 hour wait...again Do better!

I have found pieces of glass on (thank God! empty serving plates.

Eating is always delicious and the staff is always polite and efficient. Waiting times can be long, so be ready!
