Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Waitress was excellent. She was very attentive and friendly..Took a few minutes to chat with us. Food was delicious. Had Maple Bacon chicken. First time served with tomato. Atmosphere was quiet. Would highly recommend.

Was very disappointed. normally one of my favorite breakfast spot. everything tasted rushed, not cooked thoroughly. it wasn't packed so I'm not sure why it was like that. pancakes weren't fluffy like they usually are. I got the new cheesecake pancakes. the pancakes didn't taste fresh so it took away from the flavor. service was good though. no complaints there.

I've been to several of these restaurants around the country and this was just as good as the others. Staff was friendly and the food was tasty. It was also right next to our hotel so it was extremely convenient.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. We waited forever to be waited on by a server who was not busy. They had plenty of staff for their very few customers. Our food was cold, not even scorching plates that had sat too long under the warmer. Just cold. Awful experience all around.

Yesterday evening, we visited the restaurant with our family. The server took our order for drinks and a starter, but it took 15 minutes for us to receive our drinks. When we finally got our fried pickles, they were not warm, which was quite disappointing. My son's meal was cold, and my hamburger steak was tough. Fortunately, the manager apologized and brought my son a new plate that turned out to be good. We've never had a bad experience at Cracker Barrel before, and we've been to several locations, which are usually our favorite spots for breakfast and dinner. I know they may be understated, but it's the customers who keep them in business.
