Bidra med feedbackFirst up I would not choose this restaurant, rather our friends did so we went along hoping for the best.We went to dinner here with 2 friends. There were 2 other people in the restaurant, which for a Saturday night is pretty concerning. We arrived at 6.30pm and ordered from the very pleasant young waitress by around 6.50.At 8.00 the poor young waitress had the task of advising us some of the meals we had ordered (70 minutes prior) couldn't be made as they had no Seafood in the restaurant and would we select an alternate dish. The task of letting us know should have come from the Chef or the Manager, not a waitress. This went down like the proverbial lead balloon so we opted to pay the bill for what we had consumed, an Entree each, and leave. The only saving grace was the restaurant didn't charge us for any food (which wasn't bad quality) and we walked next door to Pizza Hut, purchased take away and went home to eat dinner. We've eaten here many years ago and it was pretty average then and it clearly hasn't improved.Would I consider going again or suggesting it to a friend. Never!
Four of us had an enjoyable evening. Good food, not too expensive, the level of service was just right and we were able to talk without having to yell at each other. Would definitely go back again and would be happy to recommend it to others.
Been going here for 10+ years when it was Indian Tea and Curry House. They had the best butter chicken you could find in Sydney. New owners kept the same recipie for a while but have now have changed to a disappointing new flavour...was the only reason I went.
When their phones went straight to an answering service at 6.45pm on a Sunday evening I thought maybe the phones were off after the storms so I drove up to see what was going on. They had taken their phones off the hook because they claimed they were too busy. But it was only a quarter full and I became very hot under the collar when I realised that they were too lazy to even deal with reservations, let alone takeaway orders. Does the owner know what is going on? On a wall sign outside are the words, "Our customer is God!" So crude and untrue.
We had dinner here and was not disappointed, with food or service. This place was for many years the Indian Curry House and the new owners have kept some of the original dishes for the "locals" . The 4 of us shared Samosas, Butter Chicken, Balti Beef, Dahl and a Potato dish. All were very good and served by friendly and helpful staff. Will be back again.
