Steak 'n Shake - Tupelo

If i had the option to put no stars, i would have but The location in Tupelo, MS is absolutely TERRIBLE! They need to be shut down!! I came through drive thru and ordered my food, i got 3 separate meals. Two orders were made right, but the last one wasn't. I got a bacon double burger combo, and i asked to take off the onion and pickle where it comes with onion, pickle, and ketchup. There was no bacon on the burger for one, they put everything on the burger plus lettuce and tomato where i didn't even ask for that! The woman that was working the drive-thru was absolutely rude and i didn't like her attitude at all! i live 15 minutes away and didn't realize everything was messed up until making it home. I wish now i would have checked my food before leaving, but i shouldn't have to do that and should trust that my food is going to be made the right way! Also, i am on my 7th time trying to call the establishment to speak with a manager and no one wants to answer the phone, and no they were not busy when i was up there so i don't see why they can't answer the phone. I assume that they mess up a lot and get cussed out alot that could be why they don't want to answer the phone. This is not the first time i have came here and my food was messed up or either cold or made sloppy, i just tried to let it slide any other time and i was hoping this time they had gotten an act right. In my opinion, they either need to be shut down or under new management or hire more employees that actually care about their job!

Hands down a wonderful place as well as atmosphere amazing stafe and one felt welcom like you were at home recommend a must vist and the prices for what you get is a good bergen a

Stopped for a couple of burgers while traveling through Tupelo. Bbq burger was pretty good. Fries were cold and tough though. Had to give up on them and throw them away when we got to the hotel room. Even the microwave couldn't revive them. Drinks with the nearly 9 dollar burger were miniscule and didn't have much ice at all.

Onions are sliced way too thick, fries are so thin they're cold before you leave the drive through. Burger itself is phenomenal and I love the long style pickles. Highly recommend the garlic burger or the Frisco melt.
