Romie's Grocery - Tupelo

Drove 12 hours today. He was starved at 9:00. Had no expectations, but was so surprised to find this jewel. Not only a cool place with live music on a Saturday night. These were the hands down the best puppies, hush puppies and fries green tomatoes I've ever had. The service, even if it was a Kurbic way, was phenomenal. I can't wait until we get home!

I've been to tupelo several times the last three years and have never experienced the service or the quality of food. I was amazed it was delicious. I'll be back everytime.

Went for lunch, while visiting from out of state. The fried green tomatoes are amazing! Fantastic and huge fried chicken salad, too.

Great food cooked by wonderful people!! Was a Godsend to come across this place during our travels..

One of the best local spots. When it’s not 100 degrees the patio with occasional live music is a great hang out. Had a few bachelor and divorce parties out there. Food is great. Veggie plate and cornbread are country perfection and of course they have real sweet tea. Now I’m hungry!
