Honey House - TUNCURRY

Don't consider any reviews where they honey house. chung wa moved from forster to here only last year. they are not the same people as honey house. not the same cook and not the same owners...in the did nothing is equal. chung wa is the best.

The new Chung Wah restaurant has opened on this side of town. The original Chung Wah was located on Forster main street near the ANZ bank. It is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the city.

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. The food was delicious and affordable. The kids enjoyed their meal and we were able to take home the leftovers that the waitress packed for us at no extra charge.

Stay away from this restaurant. Every dish we tried was terrible. The satay chicken was cooked in a peanut soup, and the same bland chicken was used in the chicken with mixed vegetables dish, along with an abundance of onions and carrots. The fried rice was mushy and the burnt egg mixed in made it inedible. Do not waste your money here. This was the worst Chinese food we have ever had. The only positive was that our order was ready quickly, but unfortunately, we had to throw it all away.
