Mary's Italian Trattoria - Tulsa

On June 29 2018, these jokers decided to close an hour early for no good reason. I even called ahead to see if they were busy and they said they were very slow. I told them we were coming. We arrived one hour before the scheduled close time of10pm...and they just changed the sign as we pullled up. They turned away 4 hungry adults and 2 tweens. There were a fewcustomers seated. I don't get it...any suggestions?

DO NOT LOOK AT THE BOUGHT REVIEWS, WE ACTUALLY ATE THERE, So... We spent almost $40 on food worth about $5. Appetizer was just a piece of bread with some cheese melted on it, like a personal pizza from my elementary school cafeteria. Wife had boiled noodleswith flavorless marinara and I had limp lettuce with dry chicken placed sparingly. Drinks were hardly refilled. We are willingto wait a long time for quality food, but waiting an hour was not worth it.

It was a long wait as they just had a party of 16, 6, 4 and 2 come in with only a waiter and a waitress and 2 kitchen staff. Very unusual for summer mid-week. Waitress was very attentive and kept us informed about the situation. Took about 40 minutesto get our food but it was definitely worth the wait. Food was great and then they gave us 2 desserts on the house. Willdefinitely be back the next time we are in Tulsa.

I love Mary's Italian! My family and I go there every time we have an occasion to do so. It has everything! Great food, atmosphere, and superb service. Food does not come out fast, but is made from scratch every time. All pasta, except tortellini,is homemade. Marinara and alfredo sauce are my favorite. Wine is well priced. It's my favorite restaurant of all time.

We saw the great reviews and where excited. Place was empty on a Saturday night, first sign. Worst food for 20 bucks a plate. 7 dollar Cesar salad had rusty Romain. They served my daughter frozen cheese Tortellini, the ones you by at Wal-Mart, 20 bucks. Mychicken champagne sauce was out of a jar, 20 bucks. Pesto made with dried basil, very grassy taste. Spaghetti very over cooked.Bread was plain and very stale. So disappointed.
