Cascade Hollow Distilling Co. (george Dickel Distillery)

My wife and I had a great experience here in January! The hiking tour is worth the price as you can get 4 tastings or up to 6. The staff is very informative and super helpful. The site was also very interesting to learn how it was a fully functional facility, but still did it so that people see where and how their favorite whisky is made. This was not our first option, but since the place down the road was closed, we decided to make a stop and I can say with confidence that we 're glad we did. We will be back and I would recommend this to every whiskey/whisky enthusiast or anyone who wants to learn about Tennessee story!

This was not our first choice at first, but that today 's aparentlyholidaythe still down the road 't open. However, we decided to stop the Cascade Hollow Distillery because it was not too much further. Not only was this easy to reach, but the place itself looks exactly what we saw for a Tennessee Whisky distillery! The staff was informative, helpful and seemed passionate about what they do. The whole plant was impressive and its tasting was worth it. Compared to the other brand, these guys know how to make smooth whisky that everyone can enjoy. You can bet that all future whisky will have bought in our household George Dickel on the label.

I enjoyed my tour here. Compared to other distilleries in the area, It felt individualized, regardless of the group in which I was. I also got a sample (precoal filtration) to try during the tour. This really gives you a sense of the importance of coal in America whisky. George Dickel Whisky is still one of my regular guests because I am of the combination of taste and price.

Great tour, and Bobby (our guide) was very knowledgeable and engaging. Can't believe this little distillery can produce so much volume, and fun to learn how the process works. The distillers were also really friendly and offered a taste straight off the still during the tour. Highly recommend.
