Bidra med feedbackDuring my Filipino tour in 2016, the third stop was Tuguegarao City. I had breakfast with the deputy mayor who took me to a local favorite called El Kapitan. The restaurant had friendly service, fresh ingredients, and freshly made noodles, including the incredible pancit called Batil Patong. I won't reveal all the details of this special dish, but trust me, it is amazing! I am not usually a fan of pancit, but this one blew me away. Eating Batil Patong in Tuguegarao is a must-do experience. Other stops in Tuguegarao included Goto King and Anguib Beach. Next up, Manila. The tour of the Philippines in 2016 also included visits to Acuaverde and Acuatico in Laiya, Batangas, as well as destinations like Pangulasian in El Nido and Amorita in Bohol/Panglao Island.
Our third stop during our Philippine Tour 2016 was Tuguegarao City, following our visit to Acuatico in Laiya, Batangas. I had the opportunity to enjoy breakfast with the vice mayor of Tuguegarao City, who kindly took me to a local favorite spot called El Kapitan. The restaurant offered friendly service, fresh ingredients, and freshly made noodles, including the special pancit dish called Batil Patong, which was absolutely delicious. I am not usually a fan of pancit, but this one was exceptional. I highly recommend trying the Batil Patong at El Kapitan, as it truly stands out among the many meals I had during my month-long stay in the Philippines. Do not miss it! We also visited Goto King and Anguib Beach during our time in Tuguegarao (reviews available). Our next stop is The Peninsula Manila, followed by a list of other destinations we plan to visit during our tour of the Philippines.
