Bidra med feedbackHands down the best Vietnameseplace in tucson. clean cheap and delicious
I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't that crowded with college students at home studying. This restaurant is kind of tucked away at University Square near the Front Gate to The University of Arizona. I tried the standby Pho with thinly sliced beef and added lots of jalapeno slices and sprouts. This Pho is some of the best in Tucson. I even got to watch the Match Play Golf Tournement.
Baguettes, Pho, and Boba!. Saigon Pho has three things that make it stand out from other Vietnamese places.<br/ <br/ First off, their baguette sandwiches are delicious and cheap (not to mention filling). The bread is baked in-house daily and I have yet to find another place that offers such great sandwiches. I recommend the BBQ Pork Baguette for first-timers <br/ <br/ The Pho is also special: instead of the traditional beef broth, they use chicken broth which results in a lighter and more refreshing soup.<br/ <br/ Saigon Pho's boba smoothies are outstanding. They offer traditional flavors such as strawberry or pineapple as well as more exotic (yet strangely delicious) flavors such as durian or jack fruit. My personal favorite is the coffee smoothie boba which is prepared with a shot of Vietnamese coffee brewed the moment after you order it.<br/ <br/ Their other menu items are also good. The spring rolls are packed with a lot of meat and are very affordable. Number 32, the Pork with Vermicelli is outstanding.
Great selection of vegan and vegetarian items. Their broth is nice, I loved the cabbage.
This was amazing, spicy level was just right! Food was brought out quickly when though we had a large group of 9. And location being on campus/ university Blvd. Is a huge plus. Great place to enjoy Vietnamese food!
