Kampai Sushi - Tucson

Great place to dinate. always love to sit at the bar where they make the sushi. this place has a great atmosphere, friendly staff. spacious and very cool. could be my new sushi? spot.

I have tried almost every sushi place in tucson, and kampai is the best! it is better than any place in phx! love the laughs. fish is always fresh!

My man and I hoped for a better experience based on some of the reviews, but found the sushi just ok. fish all tasted fresh enough, although, as it is usual elsewhere, they use thun fish paste instead of whole fishing as a filler in many of their rolls. I go back for the spicy skalopprolle (yum! as well as a few simple, non-speciality roles to try, but not our Go-to-Sushi spot.

Absolutely the best sushi on Northwest side of town. The roll selection is large, with many interesting rolls, and the prices vary anywhere between $6.95-12.95 per roll! Try to beat that. My favorite is Playboy roll. Also, place is always clean and there's always table available.
