Bidra med feedbackI?m thinking they call this restaurant gold because you must have been from the golden age to be a patron there. The only reason it doesn?t get a one star is because the staff really tried to mask the disappointments gold offered. From the start the restaurant was nearly empty. 7 tables. We sat for 20 minutes before receiving our first drink. We read the dress code was business casual (Christmas Eve dinner) and the entire wait staff wore jeans. ? the wines were chilled as though they came out of the refrigerator. The food was subpar at best. Everything looked as pre-made as possible. The shrimp was over cooked, the swordfish was dry and how do you serve a filet that is medium well but ordered as medium rare. The decor is cheap an dated and the smells omitting from the dank and stark room are reminiscent of a roadside truck stop diner. I won?t be giving this place a second chance. Not worth throwing away $266 for a two person meal
Normally love breakfast here. We were staying at the hotel so was convenient. We've had dinner there in the past and was good. This time disappointed with the selection and price. Service was slow even though there were very few patrons. Breakfast is fine and the view is pretty. But i would not go back for dinner.
Gold is back! Ever changing menu with seasonal local ingredients and local wines. Amazing fresh food with beautiful presentation. Such attention to detail. Restaurant is in the initial phases of new staff and recovering after covid shutdown. But the focus is amazing. We will be back to see Todd, Ken, and his amazing team again!
Absolutely top notch food. This experience, we had breakfast at Gold, and it was phenomenal!! Whoever was cooking knew how to do a poached egg to PERFECTION!! To top it off, the potatoes that went with it was also, cooked by the hands of a true professional with care. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!!
A fine dining restaurant located in the Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort and Spa. We went there for their Christmas Day Buffet Brunch. My compliments to the chef for his selection of top quality carved meats, breads, gourmet cheeses, olives and signature salads. Omelets and eggs to order, fresh salmon and different types of potatoes and vegetables were offered. Add all that and a desert station offering only the best including cherries jubilee. A perfect meal to celebrate Christmas with the family.
