Bbq Rush - Tucson

We stayed in the area a week and ate here several times. The chicken tika masala is the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Some other standout dishes were the brisket topped mac cheese, the baked chicken wings and the nachos. They use BBQ ingredients like baked beans and brisket on the nachos. Very interesting and yummy combination. The pizza oven was out of order which was disappointing. A few of the menu items are overpriced, I think. Like the rolled chicken tacos- they should come with sides for the price. The staff was very friendly and proficient. I would definitely eat here again.

Great BBQ!! It's hard to find brisket that doesn't get dried out these days. It was good and moist without drenching it in BBQ sauce and that is very important to me. I'll make a point to come back here if I am ever back in town. Only complaint is the service was a little slow, but I know it is hard these days to fully staff restaurants.

I got a brisket sandwich with potato salad and coleslaw.The coleslaw was cabbage with a cream dressing. Potato salad had bits of green pepper in it. Very good!I was a bit disappointed because the pickles had jalapenos right on top and made the pickles spicy.Overall, the brisket was juicy and tender and I loved the toasted bun it was served on. Would eat here again.*Note: this is located on a camp ground, so you will need to go through the gate at the front to get to it. You do not need to be camping there to eat at BBQ rush

OK, we just went there today! We were a little baffled when we first showed up because there was like nobody running around in there. Which probably no doubt it’s after the lunch rush, we were literally looking at leaving when an awesome lady came up and started taking care of us! IT WASBEYOND WORTH ANY WAIT! I’m so glad we waited!! THE FOOD IS AMAZING! Get the Macaroni and cheese for sure! The brisket tacos…damn! And the steak!!! Wow, just wow! So good! You NEED TO SWING IN HERE! Thank you all so much!

Food was good and the service was good. I would recommend. Honestly was more than I was expecting.Food: 4/5
