La Barca - Trujillo

This was my fourth visit (over 18 months) in this restaurant and was certainly the best! the menu is very large and many of the dishes sound very tempting, but I went for one of the home specialties (there are many according to their menu.) pescado a la al barca, and I was not disappointed. it is fish, filled with assorted seafood, and deep fried, served with their special creamy sauce, french french french fries and salate. I was blown away! the combination of aromen was amazing, and I've had every mouth. highly recommended! the restaurant is located directly on the beach, and a little from the main area around the pier, so it is a little quieter, and also they do not have any loud music that radiates all the time, which is a welcome blessing! service is good, but not too intrusive, and the prices are appropriate for what they get. the only morning in the evening was that they had no desserts (only 3 mostly on the menu, but all not available) and the coffee was an instant bag, but that was not enough to spoil my joy at the experience!

The combination of flavours was amazing, and I savoured every mouthful. Highly recommended! The restaurant is just off the beachfront, and a little away from the main area round the pier, so it is a bit quieter, and also they do not have loud music blaring out all the time, which is a welcome blessing! Service is good, but not too intrusive, and the prices are reasonable for what you get. The only blight on the evening was they had no desserts (only usually on the menu, but all unavailable), and the coffee was a sachet of instant but that was not enough to spoil my enjoyment of the experience

El lugar aunque no tenga vista al mar es acogedor y fresco, todo de madera. Su especialidad es la comida marina, la fuente de ceviche y el pulpo son sus platos mas ricos, los platos son son para 2 personas, así que sales satisfecho. Demora un poco en la atención pero es cómoda la espera.

No todos su platos son ricos, la vez pasada pedí un cangrejo reventado y no estuvo agradable. La atención es buena, no se justifica el precio.

Su carta es muy variada, recomiendo el arroz de mariscos , el precio es accesible y no es muy alto, la atención del personal es buena.
