Bidra med feedbackStaying in the Ritz-Carlton near Northstar wanted a much different experience to try a real local experience to watch the game and drink some beer and eat some food. There are many other options more upscale, oriented to visitors with more gourmet food than burgers, chicken fingers and pommes, but if you want simple tavern food with a huge beer selection and to hangout among locals and not tourists, this is the place to go. I cannot stress the size of the beer/beer selection. Wine also available, I believe. An absolutely casual apron-ski-place-changout. Not a big place with plenty of space to sit so early to get there or only be prepared for standing during peak hours.
Excellent beer selection, but it could be less expensive. You even have a barrel of old ale that is very good, but $18. Your Prickly Pearadise cider is also decent.
Scotty, the bartender, was great and I enjoyed my first blonde milk engraving! I recommend this cool but very cool hangout!
Ribs were tender, slightly spicy BBQ sauce was large, good price for a breeder of the cedar.
We stopped by for happy hour. We tried all the sliders and a couple of pints. It was all delicious. Outdoor seating is nice. Definitely try the rootbeer on tap, kids loved it
