Tc's Tap House - Truckee

The most weekend of the year and it is closed at 1:30. The pizza place was waiting for a 1/2 hour. Think.

Good ambience, nice service, terrible sloppy food. Our Caesar salad was drowned in dressing, the fish tacos were crushed in mustard?! and wet salsa, and the veggie chili was mostly broth. The frits were fresh and the wings were also good... but somehow disappointing after a long day on the mountain ski.

Not sure what is with this place, but tonight they do not define attention and had to go our order three different times after they did it wrong the first two. Then the fries were too salty and wimpy not crispy. The burgers were terrible and still had the laborious condiments. The tomato soup during the satisfactory way overprices for a small bowl. Make yourself a favor and avoid tjhis place.

TC's Tap House is the perfect escape during an active day of skiing or snowboarding. The restaurants has a lodge vibe with a large stone fireplace, wood accents, and full bar. Upon arrival, the restaurant offers fruit flavored water and etch a sketches for entertainment, while TVs of sporting events and country/rock music play in the background. Food was warm and hearty perfect for the winter weather. Menu is limited with an emphasis towards carnivores. A classic stop while at Northstar.
