Full Belly Deli - Truckee

Yum. Good sandos, even better breakfast burritos. Love the Spanish Gnar. Great place with a relaxed vibe but really good food. Come here to get sandwiches to take with you on whatever adventure you are doing today, or grab a breakfast burrito to fortify you or do both.

A lovely deli amidst the cute downtown truckee! Super fast service and kind servers. There were SO many options for bread, condiments, meats and everything in between for each sandwich. We got the dirka dirka, one of the popular sandwiches, and it didn't disappoint. The coleslaw went really well with the corned beef and pastrami. Also got some jalapeño Mayo on the side, which was delish. I love me a warm, saucy sandwich. I also got the macaroni salad, which had a lovely acidity and texture. Definitely would come back! 5/5

Stopped by with a group of friends for lunch before hitting the lake last week. I saw that Full Belly Deli had good reviews so when our friend, who lives in Truckee, recommended it, I was pretty excited to check it out. Looking over the menu, I was overwhelmed with options because everything sounded so good. I ended up browsing through photos on Yelp and Google to help me decide what to order. I landed on the Dirka Dirka sandwich which has corned beef, pastrami, house-made pickles, yellow mustard, swiss cheese, and jalapeño slaw on a jalapeño cheddar roll. We placed our order over the phone and when we arrived, everything was ready to go. We sat outside where they had several picnic tables in a shaded area. The sandwiches and cookies were so good and fresh. I was so full after only half of my sandwich, so it was nice saving the other half for lunch the next day. I definitely could come back here!

Spectacular, to say this is hidden would be a understatement. The combination of tantalizing flavors and old school good old fashion service makes this a must stop if in the truckee area.

A little hard to find, the sign was small from the road. Sandwiches were okay, got the food fast.
